RESPONS Homestays
RESPONS offers the opportunity to experience the Andean mountain culture by providing accommodation with local families in Andean communities. Visitors participate in daily (farming) activities of the host family, learn about local practices and traditions, and will find this an experience never to forget. This ‘community-based tourism’ is organized in such a way that it creates maximum benefit to the local community as a whole.
RESPONS currently offers homestays experiences in three different communities: Vicos, Humacchuco and San Miguel de Marankiari. Locate them on our map!
