To travel RESPONSibly means that your holiday will contribute to a sustainable development of the visited areas. But it also means that you will have the opportunity to get in close contact with the local hosts, get to know their environment in-depth and learn about their ancient customs. How to find your way through our offer
For an overview of the different products we offer, please use the grey menu on the right or the overview below. There are different categories we use to group our products. All products in these categories are not only characterized by maximized sustainability, but also by their intercultural dimension thanks to the direct involvement of the local communities. Homestays 
Our homestay products offer you the opportunity to visit a local community for several days, and stay close to them throughout your visit. We have chosen for separate houses (for the privacy of both), but you will share meals, daily activities (like agriculture) and every day life with them. The communities we work with are very proud to share their culture with you, and the guides are trained to take you to the most beautiful places of the community, whilst teaching you all about their environment on the way.
We currently offer you three homestay products:

- Discover Humacchuco's spectacular natural surroundings
- The Asháninka's invite you to meet the Jungle in a homestay to San Miguel de Marankiari

Trekking 
When we say RESPONSible trekking, we are not just looking for ways to involve as many locals as possible. Our trekkings preserve the landscapes they go through, and are based on special cultural resources that these landscapes offer. Through RESPONSible trekkings, these natural and cultural resources re-gain an economic value, incentivating the population to preserve these resources and take care of them. For you as a traveller, RESPONSible trekking means that you are not just walking through a spectacular landscape, but that you are living the landscape thanks to the ancestral knowledge of your local guides, for example about medicinal plants, archaeological sites or ancient legends.
We are currently offering you two trekking experiences!
- The Inka Naani: 3 - 6 days walking over The Great Inca Road, from village to village. A truly breathtaking experience!
- The Asháninka Trail, organized by native Indians from the Peruvian jungle; an adventurous expedition from one native village to the other!

RESPONSible expeditions are great ways of exploring the surroundings in several days. The expeditions that RESPONS currently offers are the Three Civilizations Adventure; a 4 day expedition to explore ancient civilizations, and the Yacu Tayta Jungle Experience in the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve where you will stay with a local fisherman community.

RESPONS' short excursions are meant for those travelers who have no time to go on a three or four-day trip. We are currently offering a one-day trip to Vicos dominated by a Pachamanca feast and a half-day trip to Huaripampa to learn about traditional weaving techniques. The Canrey Chico horseriding tour is still in its development phase but will be offered to you soon!
Of course, RESPONS will continuously seek new opportunities for you and communities to enjoy each other. For more information on each tour:

All programmes are intended to provide students with life-changing experience through endorsement in the authentic communities of Huaraz - Peru.
Our tailor-made educational tourism programmes can be divided in:
- High School Packages: learning beyond the classroom situations and through active participation in local communities
- University Packages: educational fieldtrips developed to match students’ specific study areas
