Here you will find information about the different standard packages that RESPONS offers your company. All packages can be adapted to your special needs, for example, our services can start at the airport in Lima, at the bus station in Lima, or in Huaraz. We can in- or exclude accommodation in Huaraz (if you already have your own contacts), and work on a commission -basis or with confident prices. Normally, private transportation is included on all packages, except for Lima - Huaraz and v.v., or when stated otherwise. All packages are available in both English as Spanish. As this is the English version of the website, the packages that can be downloaded here are in English. For the Spanish versions click here. The different packages are categorized under the place of departure; Huaraz or Lima.

This three day package will take your clients from Huaraz, to the authentic rural community Vicos and back. In Vicos your clients will have the opportunity to learn about the Andean culture and the unique history of the Vicosinos, take part in everyday activities like baking bread and helping the family on their farming lands, as well as hiking through the fields and visiting ruins of the Huari and Recuay period. They will also learn about medicinal plants, and have the option to hike for a full day to a high-altitude lake, a glaciers and enjoy the views of the Cordillera Blanca.

During this four day package your clients will be soaked up in the Andean culture. It will take your clients from Huaraz to the authentic rural communities of Vicos and Humacchuco where they will enjoy and participate in daily life of the Campesinos. They will have the possibility to learn about the unique history of Vicos, help the local community with their daily activities like baking bread and watching over the animals, as well as do beautiful hikes in the surrounding areas, for example to the Llanganuco Lakes and Lake 69.

This two day package will take your clients from Huaraz to the authentic rural community of Humacchuco. There are two options for this package; the active and soft adventure option. As the name implies, the first option is more active as the second option. During both these packages your clients will experience and take part in local community life. Furthermore they are able to do some beautiful hike to high altitude lakes and through the Andes Mountain Range.

This three day package will take your clients from Huaraz, to the community of Humacchuco, the famous Chavín ruins and back. Your clients will have the opportunity to get to know the highlights of Ancash through the eyes of the locals; visit the Llanganuco Lakes and the Chavín ruins and stay in a small village at the base of the Cordillera Blanca.

This six day package will take your clients from Huaraz, to the community of Humacchuco after which they will visit the famous Chavin ruins and will do the Inka Naani in a hurry. Your clients will get the opportunity to visit the beautifull Llanganuco Lakes and Lake 69, experience local life in Humacchuco, as well as learn about the history of the Ancient Inca road during the trekking.

This six day package will take your clients from Huaraz, to the traditional rural community of Vicos where they will participate in daily community life. After this they will visit the famous Chavin ruins and will do the Inka Naani in a hurry. With this package your clients will get the opportunity to experience the real local Andes life im Vicos, learn about the Chavin culture, as well as learn about the history of the Ancient Inca road during the trekking.

During this four day package your clients will walk a three day version of the Inka Naani, after having acclimatized for one day in Chavín de Huantar, first. From Chavin, they will be driven to the starting point of the Inka Naani, to walk in the footsteps of the Incas, explore the Ancient Inca road and get to know and learn more about its living culture. This package is a sustainable introduction to the living culture and history of the Inka Naani, meant for active clients who can handle a hike with medium difficulty (not more than 6 hours per day), and who would like to really feel the sweat of the Incas as they were building their empire. The first days will go down or flat, the third day involves some uphill hiking. Please make sure that your clients are prepared for a walk like this and keep in mind that they will be walking at altitudes between 3800 and 4450 meters above sea level. One night will be passed in Chavín de Huantar and the other two nights with communities along the path.

This four day adventure package will take your clients from Huaraz to Chavín, Llata, Tanta Mayo and Huánuco Pampa, to experience the ancient civilizations which lived in the Andes. During this journey your clients will go on a journey back in time to Peru’s wonderful history while visiting the archeological sites of the Chavín, Yarowilca and Inca Civilization. Furthermore they will experience spectacular landscapes of the Andes while being transferred between the civilizations with a comfortable private jeep.

This three day package will take your clients from Lima, to the village San Miguel de Marankiari and back. This community is situated in the central Jungle near La Merced. In San Miguel de Marankiari, your clients will have the possibility to have an in-depth jungle experience and get in contact with the nature and its original inhabitants. They will take part in everyday life to learn more about the local culture and they will enjoy many activities, like hikes, sauna, collecting fruits or a bow and arrow competition.

This seven day package will take your clients from Lima to the central jungle to participate in the Asháninka Trail. The expedition will give your clients the opportunity to go from the upper jungle down into the lower jungle while visiting villages of native tribes. The Asháninka Trail will make them cross numerous rivers, teach them about commercial contacts between native tribes of the linguistic Arawak Asháninka family, about the products that grow in different places and ecosystems and about ancient traditions, lifestyles and languages of the Central Jungle. Hiking will be the main activity of this trip, other activities are visiting rock carvings, taking refreshing dives in the rivers, and a bonfire with intercultural exchange. This package is for active adventure seekers; only 10kg of luggage is allowed and has to be carried by one self.

This eight or six day jungle experience (depending on public/private transport) will take your clients from Lima via Iquitos to the northern jungle. Your clients will explore one of the most extensive and biodiverse protected areas in Latin America: the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, guided by a group of local fisherman. During this journey they will learn a lot about the beautiful environment and they can participate in different activities like visiting El Dorado lake and learn about the sustainable fishing practices there, hiking through the forest, a nocturnal boat ride and learning about the flora and fauna.
